Supported Accommodation Worker

16-20 hrs per week with real potential to increase
Starting wage – £23,400 Pro Rata / £12 per hour
This is a great opportunity to work and develop your skills and experience helping young people and care leavers with an established Supported Accommodation Provider and Housing Association with a social conscience and ambitious plans for the future.
Ideal applicants will already have some experience of support work, preferably related to managing support plans. Any care or migrant knowledge or lived experience would be particularly welcome. Must have excellent communication, customer service, organisation and administration skills, and must be confident using MS Office packages and able to learn new systems/software.
Training and ongoing support will be provided but this is also a great opportunity for you to help shape the support package given to our vulnerable customers, improving their lives.
You will be creating and delivering support plans for our customers, mainly care leavers with low to medium needs, including tackling the reasons why they may struggle to maintain their tenancies. You will have a proven track record of building relationships within the sector. And a good sound knowledge of delivering employability skills would be desirable as our model includes helping young people get a jobs with our employment partners.
